Our company uses the method of horizontal directed crystallization invented by professor Kh.S.Bagdasarov. This crystal growth method is based on the following: the crystallization material placed in a specific molybdenum form is melted by a slow movement through the heating zone and crystallized by precise physical parameters. In order to obtain a strictly oriented single crystal a number of technological procedures must be followed. The crystallization process is monitored all the time.
A significant advantage of the Bagdasarov method is the possibility of growing sapphires and laser crystals of large sizes in a flat form, while obtaining a high purity and precise optical parameters.
